And when the thing that’s coming up is the first-ever awesomely fantastic Oklahoma Women Bloggers Mini Conference, well, there’s reason to look ahead.
Be sure to hop over there, read all about it and buy your ticket (an amazing deal at an all-inclusive $85). Blogger of the Month
A new month means a new blogger of the month, and this month we are pleased to feature blogger, writer, wife, reader and urban farmer, Rebekah Loper. We can’t wait to learn more about Rebekah and what makes her tick.
Our Blogger of the Month series, BOM for short, is a way for us to introduce you to bloggers you may not already know. Getting featured as the blogger of the month is also a great way to reach a new, broader audience. Are you up for the job? Or do you know someone who would make a good BOM in 2016? Nominate yourself or someone else, just email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The theme for the month is Magic, and what better month for magical thinking than December? I read last week that there are about 29 religious and secular celebrations happening in the month of December, so there is much to celebrate, and much that connects us to the idea of magic.
Holiday magic for me is watching people treat each other with an extra layer of kindness and understanding. The human magic of connection and love which transcends all the things that separate us and define us as different from one another. That’s the magic I’ll be focusing on this month.
Tell us how you celebrate Magic in your life or your community. We’ll be talking about it all month.
Have you been hashtagging with us on Instagram? We loved sharing your pictures with our followers every Wednesday, so let’s keep going with that! Especially when you are out and about in Oklahoma, celebrating with your loved ones and spending time together, use our #MyOklahoma and #OKWB hashtags and we’ll be regramming our love for your each Wednesday.
