Sandwich Generation. Flashbacks. Poop on Pottery Barn Sheets. Saying goodbye. These were all key themes in last year’s Listen To Your Mother: OKC show.
The 2014 LTYM OKC Cast
Tears. Laughter. Sighs. Smiles. Sniffles. Hand holding and hugging. These were all experiences shared by the readers and the audience alike in the Listen To Your Mother Shows all over the nation.
This year, Oklahoma City will join thirty-eight other cities sharing stories of motherhood. The story-tellers will be moms, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, brothers, husbands, uncles, sons, daughters, friends. They’ll all share diverse and beautiful stories of motherhood. The audiences will all share in a collective experience.
Misti Pryor and Heather Davis were members of the 2012 Northwest Arkansas cast of Listen To Your Mother. In 2013, they were joined by Julie Bohannon to bring the national show to the heartland. And today, these three invite you to be involved with Listen To Your Mother: Oklahoma City.
LTYM OKC Producer and Speaker, Misti Pryor
First, consider what story you have to share. Each of us has a story of motherhood and it’s worthy to be told. Think of that story. Write it down. Submit it to audition to be a cast member.

Third, turn to April 26 in your calendar or your planner or your Google Date Book. Write in pen “2:00, LTYM:OKC, Will Rogers Theater” and then invite your family and friends to go with you. Tickets will go on sale in March, and they will go quickly.
This show is right in our own back yard. Be a part of it in one way or another!
